Born in Jamaica but got kicked out when I was nine, went to the Royal Wanstead (boarding) School (see their website) finished there and wandered up and down the Old Kent Road for a year then joined the RE's for some adventure, did eighteen years then worked as an electrician for eight years, decided to get our own guest house in Gt. Yarmouth which was a non starter, Worked for Cable & Wireless (Civil Engineering) for a couple of years then started our own Plant nursery, shut that after eight years to go into Garden Design & build and still doing that.
